This privacy policy explains how personal information is handled for the iOS application Text To Speech App. By using the app, you agree to the handling of information described here and to any related terms presented in the app.
How speech generation works
Text and audio you submit for generation are processed on your device and through an AI service provider to create the requested audio. Content necessary to create a result is transmitted to that provider. We do not host or retain your prompts, reference voice, or generated audio on our servers. Any copies remain on your device unless you export or share them. The provider processes the content to return a result under its own terms and privacy notices.
Information we do not store
We do not store your text prompts used for speech generation, your reference voice recordings or files used for custom voice generation, or the generated audio. These items are processed and not stored by us; they remain only on your device unless you choose to export, sync, or share them.
Information we collect
We use analytics and error reporting to operate, secure, debug, and improve the app. This may include device and app identifiers, app version, operating system, basic device characteristics, coarse location derived from IP, timestamps, feature usage, and diagnostic data such as crash information and performance metrics. We do not send your text or audio content to analytics or crash tools. We do not use advertising identifiers and we do not run advertising networks in the app.
Use of analytics and error reporting
We use service providers that supply analytics and error reporting. They process information on our behalf to provide aggregated measurements, app performance insights, and crash diagnostics. We do not use analytics for targeted advertising or profiling. We do not sell personal information.
Subscriptions and payments
The app offers subscriptions through Apple App Store in-app purchase. Apple processes payment information and provides us with transaction metadata needed to deliver your purchase and prevent abuse. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
Safety and acceptable use
Use the app lawfully and responsibly. You must not use the app or its outputs to harass, defame, impersonate, deceive, defraud, stalk, threaten, incite violence, promote self harm, interfere with elections, violate privacy, conduct illegal surveillance, generate or distribute non consensual or misleading voice content, infringe intellectual property, send spam, or for any other unlawful or harmful activity. You are solely responsible for how you use generated audio and any consequences. We may restrict access if we believe the app is being misused; to the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim responsibility for misuse by users.
Sharing and disclosure
We share information with service providers that assist with analytics, error reporting, infrastructure, and AI processing. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or asset transfer. We may share aggregated or de identified information that does not identify an individual. We do not share information with advertising networks.
International transfers
Service providers may process information in various countries. Where required, we use safeguards such as contractual commitments to protect personal information in line with applicable law. By using the app you consent to these transfers.
Retention
We retain analytics and diagnostic information only for as long as needed to operate, secure, and improve the app and to meet legal or accounting requirements; afterward we delete or de identify it. Inputs and outputs used for speech generation are not stored by us and remain on your device under your control.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device, keeping your operating system up to date, and controlling access to your content.
Children and age requirements
You must be 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your location, to use the app. Individuals under that age may use the app only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian under that person's account and subject to applicable terms. If you are a parent or legal guardian of a minor, you agree to bind the minor to these terms and to fully indemnify and hold us harmless if the minor breaches them. The app is not directed to children.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can uninstall the app to stop all collection. You may adjust device permissions in iOS settings. To exercise rights or ask questions, contact us using the support email shown in the app; we may take reasonable steps to verify your request and may decline requests where permitted by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If changes are made, we will post the updated policy in the app. Your continued use after an update means you accept the changes.
